You’ve found me. Congratulations and welcome, well done. This is my column, or at least it’s my notes. As a stack of newsprint, some might call it a pillar of democracy, but I won’t. I’ll call it a prop, a placeholder for a website I haven’t yet done.

Now that you’re here let me tell you a few things. At work, I’m the Northern Correspondent with The Australian newspaper, this lucky country’s most serious rag. Elsewhere I’m a reader, a thinker and, I’m told, not a bad cook.

Do you have a tip, some documents or a great story you’d like to share? You can reach me through the company switchboard on +61 2 9288 3000 or via social media: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Google+ and LinkedIn. Don’t hesitate!

Have I written about you or taken your picture lately? Check out my page on The Australian’s website or the Newspix photo library. Newspix can help you find the photo you want.

Still no luck? Feel free to drop me a line. I’m based in Darwin most of the time. Thanks for calling. Come back soon.
